so winter break is fast approaching. i’m nearly finished with all finals activities. I will have about a month of heavenly free time and i wanted to make a list of things i hope to accomplish over break.

List subject to change.

1. Work on my portfolio website. Either finish the online portfolio or scrap the site and start a new design. Not sure what i’m doing as far as that goes. But I need to get started on it no matter what. I’m not gonna say i want to finish it, because i feel like it’s going to be a constant work in progress, and i’m ok with that, that’s how it should be.

2. See a few hockey games. Haven’t been to a Komets game in awhile and i know josh is wanting to see atleast one while he’s home.

3. Convert my entire music collection to mp3’s. I really got behind on this, all my music was on my old PC, but since it’s officially dead now and in jordan’s possesion, i really need to convert all my music, i have like 1/25th of my collection on my mac. I’ve been considering going completely digital with music to clear up some space and make it easier on myself. But i haven’t decided yet, there’s something satisfying about buying a good cd and having that physical case and cover art. 

4. Veg and sleep…..hard.

5. Play some videogames. This will be a list within a list because there are so many game related goals i want to complete.

-Do everything i want to do on Oblivion. (Mainly the mages guild quests/finish theives guild) because i know as soon as i start Fallout 3, oblivion will no longer be my massive RPG of choice.

-Finish Half LIfe 2, Half Life 2: Episode 1 and 2 on Orange Box. Possibly play through Portal again.

-Finish Be A Pro Season on NHL 09

-Play through Bring Down the Sky DLC for Mass Effect, possibly start another play through to get some more achievements, thats a big maybe though, that would be my third play-through.

-Purchase and play through Braid, I played through the demo last night and absolutely fell in love with it.

-Play lots of L4D online, and finish Blood Harvest w/ Jordan and Bud.

-Games I want to start/buy: rent and finish GOW2 w/ jordan, try out Devil May Cry 4, buy Bioshock (i’ve only played the demo, i can’t not play through the game of the year)

Can’t wait!

6. I almost forgot the thing i’m most excited to work on over break. Me and Bud have been talking about doing a podcast since early summer of this year. And it looks like break will be a prime opportunity to get everything setup so that we can record on a regular basis once school starts up again. I’ve already started work on the blog.
